Sprawling painted editorial illustration for a newspaper front page: A sunny day at a bustling shipyard with workers in hard hats and vests walking alongside a massive Arleigh Burke destroyer in dry dock, as a giant crane lifts a radar system into place, with a backdrop of shipbuilding facilities and a calm harbor. Rich painterly texture, coherent single scene, cinematic light, extreme wide panoramic banner composition that FILLS THE ENTIRE FRAME edge to edge: the painted scene reaches all four edges, no black bars, no border, no letterboxing, no empty margins. Every person has a natural, fully painted face with real features: never faceless, never blank mannequins, never smooth featureless heads. All people are fictional and resemble no real public figure. Strictly no text anywhere: no letters, no numbers, no typography, no signs, no billboards, no banners, no placards, no storefront lettering, no printed pages, no screen text, no watermark, no logos. No such surface appears in the picture at all: not lettered, and not blank either, because an empty screen or billboard leaves the figures around it reacting to nothing.

Announced Tuesday, the ownership restructure follows major investment and headcount growth at the yard.
Hanwha Defense USA will acquire a controlling 60% stake in Hanwha Philly Shipyard via an HDUSA-led joint venture, the company announced Tuesday.
Hanwha Group first purchased the former Philly Shipyard for $100 million in December 2024. The company announced plans in August 2025 to invest $5 billion at the yard for facility upgrades and expanded production capacity. Workforce at the site has grown to nearly 2500 employees, up from 80 employees in July 2019.
Acting US Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao toured the Philly Shipyard facility in September to discuss future Navy shipbuilding requirements.
